Located on the northeast border of Georgia, the county encompasses part of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  More than half of Union County's acreage is within the Chattahoochee National Forest. Halloween Night

The Downtown Development Authority and The Union County Historical Society's old fashioned community event features a costume contest, storytelling, children's games, and plenty of fun. Over 50 businesses, individuals and civic groups give out candy throughout the perimeter of the square to ensure no child goes home empty handed.
